Brewer's hometown celebration gets under way Friday

The ninth annual Brewer Days "A Hometown Celebration" is packed full of events designed to entertain folks of all ages, and will kick off Friday evening with high school soccer, a lobster bake and the city's official ambassadors providing the music.

Sports Depot opens for business in Georgetown

Life has returned to the former Rock Pond Restaurant in Georgetown, which has been vacant since closing its doors in February. A new restaurant, the Sports Depot at Rock Pond, has moved in to the West Main Street space, and it officially opened on Wednesday, Sept. 1.
